Advice on first purchase?

I’m looking at financing a car for the first time, but I’m a little nervous. There is a 2019 corolla within my budget, however I have no idea how to go about actually getting it at the dealership. I feel like I should obviously test drive but I just want to make sure I don’t get screwed I guess. For reference, I have a credit score in the mid 700’s, I’m a 21 yr old male, and I recently got a decent paying full time job where one paycheck can cover my payment + insurance. The car is priced at $14,500 and has 90k miles on it. Carfax has all service records, showing it has zero accidents or any other kind of damage. Any advice helps guys!
