5 week period and burns when I pee

More details in my post a few days ago - I’m having a never ending period and just went to the bathroom and it hurts when I pee. I’ve noticed it’s felt uncomfortable down there for a few days but today it is actually painful. I have been checking myself with a mirror for the past few days and can’t see any visible signs of infection or sores etc. Could it been irritation from all the wiping and sitting in period blood? O have a gyno appoint next week but what do I do until then? This on top of the period from hell is really freaking me out
