My 35F ex husband 36M says all men cheat

My now ex husband cheated on me several times throughout our 13 year relationship. I forgave him each time (stupid I know) in an attempt to keep our family together. We separated two years ago and our divorce finalized this year. We tried to work on our marriage while separated but he continued with his ways and I could no longer go back. He is now dating one of the woman he met while we were actively trying to fix our marriage and has even brought her around our son (10). I am finally at peace with us not working out and I realize he is now her problem and not mine. I asked him to stop trying to get me back and to respect his new relationship and respect me. Even after our divorce finalized and him dating her, he continued to try to kiss me and ask me for sex and tell me that he will leave everything if I give him one more opportunity. I know we can never repair the trust that has been broken so many times and I know for a fact that everything is over. My question is, do all men cheat?? I told him I wanted to give myself the opportunity to date and find happiness and that I prefer he find out through me rather than someone else. Even though he couldn’t give me that same respect. He responded with telling me that no matter who I date, I will be cheated on because all men are the same. He also basically said that sticking with someone you already know, even if it's not ideal, is better than taking a risk on someone new that might be worse. I think I know the answer, he’s gaslighting me and continuing with his emotionally abusive ways but I guess I just need reassurance. I was a good wife, loyal, respectful, loving and supportive. I have so much to offer and the idea of giving someone an opportunity just for them to eventually cheat on me scares me.
