Best Truck or SUV for Hauling Furniture, Woodworking Materials, and Camping + Dog Life

Hey everyone! I'm in the market to replace my aging vehicle and would love advice from folks who’ve found the right balance between workhorse and weekend adventure vehicle.

✅ What I’m Looking For: I need something that can handle: • Flipping furniture (room to haul dressers, tables, etc.) • Camping adventures (planning a rooftop or pop-up tent setup) •Riding around with my dog, who goes everywhere with me •Bonus for boxy, rugged styling—I don’t love the soft, rounded look of some modern SUVs

🔥 Vehicles That Catch My Eye: • Toyota Tacoma or Tundra • Nissan Frontier • Ford F-150 Tremor or Raptor • Chevy Colorado • Honda Passport Sport and Honda Pilot Sport trims • Lexus GX550 & Toyota Land Cruiser aesthetic goals, but not realistic right now lol • Also open to hybrid options like a newer Toyota RAV4 Hybrid or even a RAV4 Prime

I’m especially drawn to special edition or off-road trims with rugged, earthy colors like tan, cement, or muted blues, and blacked-out badges — things like Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, Nissan Frontier PRO-4X, Ford F-150 Tremor, or Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison. I love that tactical, outdoorsy vibe.

💸 My Situation: I currently drive a 2007 Toyota RAV4 V6—it’s been solid for 6 years now, but it’s getting old and repairs are becoming more frequent. Planning to finance a used vehicle with a moderate down payment and monthly payments I can manage without stretching my budget.

👀 What I’d Love Help With: • Best trucks/SUVs that balance utility (furniture hauling) and outdoor life • Most reliable years/trims for the vehicles above • Whether to go hybrid now or prioritize rugged capability

Thanks so much for any input! Just trying to make a smart upgrade that works for both my lifestyle and my budget.
