New Portland stripper advice

I’ve been seriously thinking about trying out stripping in Portland. I’m 20, petite, toned, and dark-skinned. I know Portland is pretty white, and I’ve heard it can be racist in certain spots, so I’m a little concerned about being turned away because of my complexion. I also know a lot of clubs make it harder to dance if you’re under 21.

That said, I’m athletic, good on the pole, and really want to give this a shot—even if it’s just for a while. I’d be traveling from out of state (about a 3-hour drive), so I want to make sure I’m choosing the right clubs to audition at. I’ve heard of Golden Dragon, but that’s about it.

Any recommendations for clubs that might be a good match for someone like me? Especially ones that are more open to Black dancers or younger performers under 21?
