4th & 5th pic - the day I posted on here (almost 2 months ago) and a couple months prior to that

I posted on here in early May after having dealt with suspected PD for at least 6 months. Largely thanks to this group, I think I figured out what helps to it settle down!!!!!

Made these changes immediately and saw improvement starting within one week:

- immediately stopped using all my acne products on it (vitamin c, winlevi, exfoliating once per week, salicylic acid mask once per week). These were 100% irritating it oops
- only applied avene cicalfate to the area nothing else (continued doing this every night since, it is magic)
- stopped wearing makeup on the area

After a week or so of the above, I went to the doctor for a derm referral. She prescribed me ivermectin in the mean time while I wait for derm, as apparently it can help PD and she thinks I have rosacea too. Ivermectin I believe has helped (at least not made anything worse). I put cicalfate on top of it overnight on the areas I had PD. I also stopped my chemical spf and started using mineral spf or simply moisturizer during the day.

Because there were a few changes made it’s hard to tell exactly what helped, but I really believe I was just using too many irritating products on The area. Generally eating less sugar and focusing more on my nutrition may have played a role too here. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Still waiting for derm appointment but I’m feeling so so happy with how things are going so far! No active spots, just have some scarring. Sorry for the long post I’m just happyyy and grateful for this group!!!
