Barbie in the Princess Power question

So I was rewatching it and noticed there is a part where the Baron says he’s doubled the ingredients of his potion to increase the power, and that’s just not how math works right? Like if I double the ingredients to make pasta sauce, it won’t increase the flavor, it will just give me twice as much pasta sauce. And he doesn’t seem any more powerful than Super Sparkle or Dark Sparkle.
