Trying to find my first job. Need some advice

Hello! I'm 20 years old and im currently trying to look for my first maybe part time job to help support my mom. Where we live it's pretty expensive for the rent so im trying to find something that could possibly pay well enough but might also be friendly for someone new to the work scene. I've been trying fast food places but haven't gotten much luck..I was going to apply at Michael's but im not sure if that job is too complicated or well paying enough for PT. I have anxiety so I wanna try to break out of my shell with something but it's been kinda hard...does anyone have any tips on what kind of jobs i should go for? Help would be very appreciated :D
