My son just turned of age to play in our local indoor field. He and I have never played. How can I best support him?
Hi all! Looking for advice for my son. He just turned 10 and is able to play at our local indoor field. He has a few airsoft guns already that he’s been shooting at targets outside at home the last few years. He is excited to play and wants me to play with him. I’ve bought him protective gear, taught him gun safety, explained rules like calling hits, not over firing, etc. With neither of us having played, is there anything I need to be careful of? I also worry about bullies or targeting where he is obviously smaller, even though all I have talked to have been super nice and accommodating. I don’t expect bullying to be an issue per se, but want to know how to avoid/handle it if it were to arise. Just want to make sure I’m prepared and make this a great experience for him and build some great memories. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
