Why did Krovla try to leave Poromiel?!

This always bugs me. Also, how is much of Krovla and Cordyn left undrained until the battle of Draithus? Is that a ward stone we see in Tecarus’ mansion when Mira and Violet visit in the basement?!

Here is my unhinged theory - Like some have pointed out, the irids on the isles talk of wardstoneS in the plural. Could there be more wardstones? Maybe linked to each dragons ancestral hatching grounds. We know that the blues hatching grounds were near Cordyn, and that Tecarus has a suspicious looking stone.

Also they keep talking about the second Krovlan uprising, but what led to the first? What could the rebels want? And why secede from Poromiel?
