What are the use cases for longer train stations?
So I've been playing Shapez 2 for a while now and have been really enjoying it, but I feel like I am not utilising trains as best as I can be. Namely, I've basically never needed to make a station longer than one wagon.
My best guess is that you can have one train deliver multiple things, but the side-effect of that is that your round-trip time increases dramatically, so I've found it better and simpler to manage by just using a single train at a time. My trains never have more than 2 stops, a pick up and a drop off.
And I mean this works, but I feel like they have more potential that I am missing, or just not understanding something.
At my hub, I have 3 train stations on each side which all lead to the vortex, and I have a train line going in each direction from there outwards. I connect factories to the main line to drop off items at the hub, and if those factories require a different shape from far away, I create an entirely separate train line to deliver it.
Above is an example of how I keep the lines completely separate, on the right is the main line leading to the hub, and on the left is a separate line delivering another part to a factory. I made this before I unlocked the other train colours, so I suppose I could use them to allow the main line to be used for this case.
Anyway, curious to see what you all have to say!
