Over 40, and dating? Yikes.
I need your feedback, welcome your opinions, and advice, please.
I have been single for over 2.5 years (very much my choice), and am open to exploring dating with the intention of creating a meaningful connection. I am clear on my core values (and live in congruence with them), and am struggling with meeting a gentleman.
At 42 I am by no means a “boring Betty”, but do appreciate the softer side of life (think classical music, gardening, baking, cooking, art, reading, etc.). I have a very successful career, am in good shape, and have created a very peaceful life.
Where I am struggling is twofold:
-
How do you recommend I meet a gentleman in person (as opposed to navigating online dating/apps)? I do not “drink”, nor would I feel comfortable going to a “club” at my age.
-
How can I be more approachable in public/everyday life? If I see someone that I think is handsome, what would be an appropriate approach to asking for a man’s number?
Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated ❤️ .
