I caught myself on camera at 3:18 AM. But I was asleep.
I don’t know when it started — maybe a few weeks ago, maybe longer. But now, every single night at exactly 3:18 A.M., my hallway mirror moves first.
Just the mirror. Not the wind. Not the windows.
It twitches. It pulses. Like it's listening.
So I set up a camera, same angle, same time, every night. For the first few days, it only caught the twitch — barely noticeable. Enough to freeze my blood.
But then...
On night five, the footage showed me standing in front of the mirror.
Except I was asleep in my room. I never left.
Still, there I was. Smiling. Not blinking. Perfectly still… for 3 minutes.
Then I walked away — backwards — out of frame. And the video glitched.
I didn’t remember any of it.
I called my friend. Showed him the tape. He said:
“That’s not your room.”
But it was. Same mirror. Same cracked frame. Same wall.
Except... behind my reflection — there was another me. Sitting. Watching.
And smiling.
Last night, the mirror didn’t twitch at 3:18.
Because the camera turned itself on… at 3:15.
It recorded the living room this time.
There was no one there. Until…
Me. Again.
Walking in slow circles. Holding something.
I think it was a knife.
But the footage cut out before it became clear.
Now there’s a file on my desktop I never recorded.
It’s titled:
“Your Last Normal Night.mp4”
And during the day, when I pass the mirror…
I look tired.
But my reflection still smiles.
⚠️ DO NOT WATCH THE TAPE. IT WATCHES BACK.
