Do we have an ETA on a matchmaking fix?

Currently in Master div 3 , my buddy and I keep getting matched with gold player since the grind up from there. Today we hit a new low with a bronze 1 player in ranked. IDK if they have spoke about adressing this but it kinda seems pointless to have ranked if you are not MMR matched.
