I’m currently in the process of booking a visa interview appointment for my F1 visa (Fall 2025 intake) and I have a few questions that I hope the community here can help with as I am trying very hard sleepless nights to get my visa appointment but nothing happens:

1. What is the best time of day (IST) to check for fresh F1 visa appointment slot availability? I've heard early mornings and late nights work, but would appreciate any updated advice based on recent experience. Because checking most often can temporarily block my account.

2. Which platform or forum has the most active and reliable community for getting genuine, real-time updates on F1 visa slot availability at Indian consulates (especially Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai)? Reddit, Telegram, Discord, or some other group?

3. How frequently do consulates release new slots (daily/weekly/random)?

4. Are there any reliable trackers, tools, or browser extensions that can notify about slot openings or cancellations?

5. Any tips on how to improve chances of getting an early slot? For example: payment method, login timing, or refreshing tricks?

6. Do you recommend checking through the CGI Federal portal or using the USTravelDocs website? Any difference in performance or interface lately?
