Batman (1989) was not meant for HDR

Finally picked up Batman and Batman Returns from a Gruv 2 for $20 sale last week.

While the actual picture quality was great, considering how dark the movie was supposed to be, you can tell that shadow was meant to hide a lot and there is this artificial light effect where you can see stageights in dark scenes.

Usually it's the opposite where film maker mode is too dark. This time I wish I could just turn HDR off all together.
