Didn’t plan this, but I’m here for it

I just got to my solo vacation that I will be at through Friday. I didn’t bring any diapers with me as I was with family before the trip and couldn’t sneak any into my bag. I was walking around today and happened on a Walgreens. I decided to go and look around for souvenirs and happened on their clearance section which had their most absorbent diaper in my size for only $1.47! Yes, a pack of 10 diapers for only $1.47!!! No they aren’t true ABDL diapers but it had me thinking about the possibility of something fun…

Not only have I never been out in public in diapers, but I have also never gone more than 12 hours wearing diapers at one time. With this sale I thought that I could check off both of those things during this trip. I went back and forth in my head and waited until it was the perfect time to go up and purchase the pack of diapers for $1.47. The sale went through at that price, I put them in my backpack, and I was on my way. I headed to then get some food and it was go time.

I went to the bathroom (a lockable single person bathroom luckily) and put on my first diaper for the trip. It was like pure bliss putting that diaper on and, being merely a diaper from a Walgreens, it was essentially impossible for me to see when I looked in the mirror to check to see how big the bulge was. I packed up all my things and opened the door to the world, now with me in my diaper.

It is this point that I had always feared. What would happen if I went out in the world wearing a diaper. Would everyone stare at me? Would everyone point and laugh? I know it sounds silly but these were serious concerns at the time. But soon after opening that door I realized that absolutely nothing had changed (except me 😁). People were still minding their business and nobody was staring at me in a weird way or calling me out or pointing and laughing. No person could tell what happened in that bathroom. I was comfortable in my diaper and nobody had any clue.

I’m excited to see how the rest of this week goes and plan to keep everyone posted on here. For now, I just have a few questions.

• Any tips for changing in public bathrooms when they are not singles?
• Any tips for wearing to the beach?
• Any tips for staying clean and comfortable throughout this next week (I don’t plan on using for #2)?
