I want to preface this a little bit before we begin: I've lurked for many years, but I really don't like posting. This mission drove me to this, so sorry if its formatted badly.

I'm an LR5 player that started in 2013. I enjoy wiki diving and trawling YouTube for those niche interactions and builds. I'm the guy who keeps ALL the weapons and warframes, and I've spent the forma on building out more than my fair share of them. I enjoy having a massive arsenal, and with that all in mind I have really enjoyed EDA and ETA for giving me incentive to actually use these things. I have, for every week since they have come out, completed both modes with the full load out and maximum modifiers, and I run them all on pubs too.

I am THE GUY they are aiming this end game content at and I love it. I understand not everyone has had the time or money to put into getting to where I am, but I still can't help but think "skill issue" when people complain about these modes restrictions and modifiers. I got through release Eroding Defenses mirror defense. I got through release Vamp Rock defense. I'll happily take any and every mission type and modifier, but there is one mission I dread seeing every week.

ETA Assassination

I got a pretty good build this week; Glaxion, Angsturm incarnon, and I even got to see if the doom posting about Valkyr was accurate or not. The team blazes through the first two missions, everything is going great, and then this happens. 20 minutes and 23 THOUSAND heat procs and we've half killed the time gated POS that is the Murmur assassination. Roughly 23 minutes after that, for a total mission time of 47 minutes for ONE boss it's dead.

I know there's been a lot of complainants about attenuation. I understand that DE has backed themselves into a corner with meaningful challenges for players at even half of where I am, but this is NOT okay. This wasn't me carrying three leeches, everyone was shooting the bullet sponge of a boss for FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES. This is not fun. This is not engaging. This is me charging an incarnon and emptying it repeatedly until i run around clawing enemies until i get ammo to shoot it more.

I'm really not even sure why I'm posting this besides venting about how frustrating it is that a team of four people using decent equipment cant finish a singular mission in anything approaching a reasonable time period. Anyways, I'm gonna go back to lurking, doubt I'll even post anything responding to this thread.

TL;DR: DE needs to address the attenuation of bosses so that it doesn't take 3/4ths of an hour to kill one.

Also, to those wondering about how Valkyr performed

>!I went down the least with one, and that was me standing still for 30 seconds to time the screenshot.!<

>!The person who went down the most was the other LR5 Valkyr!<

>!Conclusion? I'm not sure!<

This is not okay, and I'm tired of it
