Slow Internet boosts productivity

Long story short, I needed to change my SIM provider and somehow manage to get the one with crazy slow internet (1 mbps). As an IT professional Im used to have unlimited/fastest possible and got so frustrated of having this one instead.

Week after week of using it for my daily habits I just noticed that I doom scroll much less because videos are lagging and loading slowly. Every time I try to scroll something and it lags, because of frustration it drags me to do something more productive instead.

So far I cannot love more my slow internet

I know I know other things are loading much slower too, but if you actually need to call a cab or open maps, couple of extra seconds doesnt change anything.

I also remember reading something between the lines that if you want to make yourself productive at something make it frictionless, like if you want to play guitar, keep it close to you at all times.

That works both ways, you can avoid some bad habits by making them hard to reach. I guess my slow internet issue falls into this category pretty well
