[technique] veil question?

Hey, noob here on my first journey growing. I'm still in the very early stages. My question is once you harvest your fruit just before the veil breaks, are you supposed to remove the veil after pulling them before throwing in the dehydrator? Or do they get thrown in to the dehydrator as well? Just trying to make sure I have everything in order when that time comes in a few months I'd say (just got my first little bit of mycelium showing in the bag). I went with a booming acres all in one bag and Golden Teacher spores for my first go.
