I healed my costo and now it only flares up maybe 5% occasionally
Im a female. In good health. Able bodied. In my 30s. I remember suffering all of 2022 into summer 2023 with costo. It came out of nowhere. I thought this was my forever normal and then suddenly one week I healed. Maybe this is anecdotal and won’t help you but it’s worth sharing in the chance that it could help someone have hope.

I changed my mattress to something softer. An Endy. However since December 2024 we have changed to a Douglas mattress slightly firmer which is even better.

We noticed our bed was in a slight slant backwards shifting our legs and chest higher than head. We moved bed around to a level where we are flat or slightly feet first downward, and then suddenly after a week I started healing… then it just went away.
I couldn’t believe it! Since then I have been pregnant and in postpartum and sometimes I have to lean a certain way to bottle feed baby when sleeping and it flares it up by maybe 5% but it is so unnoticeable and goes away after a day or two.
It’s amazing to sit hunched over, to breath without excruciating pain. To carry around my 20 pound baby all day long and forgetting how badly it was once for me.
I hope for you things can get easier because I know first hand how horrible this was. I pray it never comes back with the way I suffered, and I pray the suffering goes away for you too ❤️ much love
