Does having Misophonia hinder sexual experiences?

NSFW

I watched a video recently regarding Misophonia, which explained the concept of what it generally is, how it affects people who have it, ect.

I do not have Misophonia, I’m just here to learn something and got to thinking about the logistics of it.

If eating noises like chewing, slurping, coughing, sneezing, lip smacking, can trigger people in normal everyday activities like having lunch and stuff, wouldn’t the same apply to sexual contexts too? Do people with Misophonia get upset when hearing sexual noises too, or does the physical stimulation help take away their attention from the noise?

Is it easier to tolerate giving oral than receiving if not? How about skin slapping, is that a trigger? I’m sure it does vary depending on the person, but generally speaking, does having Misophonia hinder the experience to some capacity?

Please someone with Misophonia answer this, I don’t know anyone with Misophonia who could provide me a genuine answer, so it would be greatly appreciated!
