Very curious - Does anyone else burp out loud when emotionally unloading
Hello everyone,
This is Alice (not really) and I am very curious to hear if I am the only person, who experiences this.
I am a nurse in training and the job is very rewarding but also very stressful. Currently, I am stationed at an ER center in a major hospital. Sometimes I work long shifts with little to no breaks. I deal with people (including children), who are in pain, uncomfortable, scared... Sometimes, it can be overwhelming.
I deal with the stress by speaking to my husband in the evenings and emotionally unloading on him about what happened during the day.
I have been self cured for 3 months now and still burping strong.
Something we have both noticed is that since learning to burp, when I start emotionally unloading in the evenings, I burp out loud while speaking. Like loud, long burps between sentences. They are involuntary and happen on their own. My husband has even nicknamed the entire thing "The belch storm of relief".
I feel a lot better at the end of a belch storm of relief. It feels like all the negative emotions from the day get unloaded from me with each burp.
I am very curious does this happen to anyone else? And is it biological, psychological, spiritual...?
