Taking an American Guide Dog to Paris?

I will be traveling to Paris for a week or two in and wanting to take my guide dog—male black lab trained at Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, CA (they are part of IGDF). I’m not too worried about getting all of the necessary documentations (doctor’s letter; certificate, rabies, etc) and temporary ID for him. However, I’m more so worried about businesses accepting/denying him entry. Yes, I understand that service dog handlers are legally protected to not be discriminated against, but how is it in practice?
