Artificer multiclass

Has anyone put together any cool/powerful artificers mukticlasing into the new gunslinger class? I'm a level 4 armourer artificer in my current campaign and the DM has said if I want o can multiclass into the new gunslinger. I'm unsure whether it is worth it?
