Induction & dealing with family

Need Advice

I have kept my pregnancy fairly lowkey. I don’t share much information unless asked directly. Not because I’m trying to exclude anyone but because I am a more private person / don’t want the only thing I get to talk about be baby things.

My husband and I decided early on we would not tell anyone right away when I went into labor to avoid any unwanted visitors. However, I got diagnosed with GD and without thinking did share that my dr would not want me to go pass 39 weeks.

I am currently 37w5d and I just got a text from a family member directly asking me if a date has been scheduled which caught me off guard. I don’t want to lie but I also don’t want to be irritated the next 2 weeks.

I am already getting annoyed by the any update texts from family and friends alike. Pregnancy didn’t change who I am as a person. We will share when there is news to share.

Any advice on how to handle the next couple of weeks especially given people are more bold in asking for information that I realized they would be?
