My fiance is talking to God.

Possible trigger for mental health

I '28M' and my fiance '34F' have been dating for four years. She has almost always been stable. She deals with possible bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. I don't know exactly. Mental health is a sensitive subject with her.

At the end of month she started hearing voices. She was on the balcony, hands in the air, and singing. She isn't religious. I questioned what she was doing and she was apparently talking to God. She tried to do some kind of laying on hands thing to me. I told her she needed help and she left to live with our 75 year old neighbor who is basically her Dad. She took my cat.

I've been just surviving day to day. Friends have reached out and gotten me out of the house. Today I got news. Police took her to the hospital. She was going downhill to the point where she thought she was a prophet. I got my cat back out of her filthy cigarette covered room.

I'm not trying to make her sound bad. She is the sweetest person I know. She has such a strong sense of justice and she is so kind. She just has some mental issues. She's a very strong person. She dealt with so much as a child.

I guess I just want to know what to do. She's my best friend but this has destroyed me. I don't want to blame her because she has mental issues but this is just so hard. I still love her but I'm afraid that if we got back together then this will happen again. I still love her so much but I don't know if I'm strong enough to handle much more of this. What is a good plan for what I should do when she gets out of the hospital? What if she wants my cat back? I'm just confused at this point.
