Just bought the Houndpack Lancer Box. What army list should I run in game? And what should I run for 2k points if I want to buy an Abominant to have in my collection?

Hey! Pretty much just the title. I'm still relatively new to the hobby playing wise. I have had my eyes on wanting to buy Chaos Knights for a long time now and was ecstatic to finally have the excuse for it, but I wanted to know what I should I run after I finish building the ones I have in the box? I am aware of magnets but have never magnetized anything yet, so I know nothing is permanent, but I still want to know what would be good running in game.

As for the Abominant, I just like how it looks and heard it had trouble being magnetized unlike the others. If that's not true, I'm not worried, but if so, I wanted to know what a solid list that should persist more or less between editions would be good to work towards when aiming for 2k. I don't have a 2k army yet, and I'm thinking this is the one I would like to commit to first.
