My partner wouldn't listen to me when I said I wasn't interested.
I (22M) started dating a new guy (23M) last week. Calm, fine with me being polyamory. My other partners loved him. He comforted me and always "understood" my trauma because I've been sexually assaulted before.
Last night I went home with him, I was high, he wasn't, and we started kissing and stuff but he reached out and started trying to pull off my jeans and shit.
I told him very clearly that I wasn't interested in sex because I have hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD). He told me that I was just high and didn't know what I was talking about. So he did it anyway.
When I continuously told him to stop and actually started crying he told me to "stop being difficult" and proceeded to rant about how "dating means consent".
When I went to the police the next day about the situation they didn't believe me because:
a) Polyamory people aren't welcome around town so they completely dismiss us.
b) I was high
I'm so lost rn. Am I exaggerating things? Is dating really the same as consent?? What the fuck?? Is HSDD not a valid reason for being uninterested in sex??
