What happens if I return clothes to Amazon after wearing them once? Is it a big deal?
So here's the situation:
I bought some clothes for a special occasion (like a formal event), and I haven’t worn them yet, but I do need to wear them just once. Afterward, I plan to return them because I don’t really need them. The thing is, I washed them already because I always wash clothes before wearing them and before returning them, but now I’m worried that there might still be some kind of smell left from washing them.
I’ve had relatively good experiences with returns in the past, but I’ve returned items more often because they didn’t fit me right, I’m a bit taller than the average woman and have a larger bust, so sizing issues happen often. But for some reason, I’m really anxious this time about the smell of the clothes because I’ve washed them. I’m worried that Amazon might notice and have an issue with that, even though I’ve washed them to make sure they’re clean and in good condition.
Is it a big deal if I wear something once, wash it, and then return it? Will Amazon care if there’s any trace of smell or the fact that it was washed? Has anyone had any experience with this?
I really planned on keeping them but I realised I have no occasion to do so but maybe someone can maybe reduce my anxiety.
Thanks in advance!
