Collecting cards

Hi I've recently gotten "back" into the series (I really only watched a few episodes of the anime a decade ago lmao)

And I wanted to start collecting, I am fully aware these cards have no value, I just like the look of them

But what is the set releases like? With pokemon you can easily find a list of all the temporal forces cards and their order (for example) is it the same for Yugioh? There doesn't seem to be a set number on any of the cards or anything to identify them so I'm guessing there isn't but I have no clue, could anyone explain how it works? Or link a page talking about it if there is one

(I do plan on playing the actual tcg eventually but I just like collecting cards lmao)
