What careers should I consider with a background in International Relations, Economics, and Intelligence Studies?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently a junior studying International Relations and Economics with a minor in Intelligence Studies. I’ve been fortunate to build a strong resume so far—I’ve interned with a U.S. intelligence agency, founded an accredited newspaper focused on global economics and security policy, and was recently awarded a fully funded research grant to study counterintelligence at Cambridge University.

With my senior year approaching, I’m trying to better understand what career paths could align well with this mix of experiences. I’m open to both government and private sector roles, but I’d appreciate any insight from people in the field- or adjacent ones- on what kinds of roles I should be looking at, and what steps I should take now to stand out.
