Aritzia Warehouse Interview experience...

ARITZIA WAREHOUSE (I didn't get hired even tho I worked there last year)...

I went to the Aritzia warehouse job fair on the last day of the interviews with five of my friends. We worked there last year so we were able to lineup in the alumni line.

When we went in for the interview and five of my friends got hired except me. Mind you this was the alumni line/section only and we all had the interview at the same time just with different interviewers.

During my interview the interviewer asked me basic questions like "Tell me about yourself" and the "skills I have on my resume". After that conversation, she explained that most of the positions are filled and that she will call me when a position opens (understandable bc we went on the last day). The same thing was told to all my friends. However, instead they got moved to the other room to pick out their shifts where I was just told that "We will give you a call when a position opens".

I'm not sure if I said anything wrong during the interview but I was professional.

After the interview, I left and waited for my friends but one of my friends saw the girl that interviewed me be comforted by her manager or coworker. She was apparently about to cry and her coworker was saying "it's okay, it's your first time interviewing".

Now we are assuming that she accidentally turned me down and why would she be crying over turning someone down? (I worked there last year, its not like im completely new)...
