Chapter 17: The Wolf of War

⸻

The throne room fell silent as the blade slid through her heart.

No scream. No last words. Just the heavy sound of chains falling as Sinthia Chaos—the once-angel, the fallen wolfhound, the submissive lover—collapsed at the foot of Queen Yharnam’s throne. Her collar clinked gently on the floor as her blood ran between the cracks of ancient stone, steam rising in ghostlike trails.

Velvet—no, Yharnam Queen now—merely exhaled. “The prophecy is satisfied.”

Voxxxa bowed her head. Valentino lit a cigar. The rest of the court watched in horrid silence as the defiled angel-bitch of chaos died at the altar of forgotten gods.

Far away, Damian Chaos felt it.

His knees hit the floor of the Hellscape Hotel, eyes wild, hands trembling. Something inside him died—and something else awakened. His cane, the once holy blade of his angelic heritage, HolyWrath, began to glow in his grip… and then cracked.

The cane writhed. It bled. It screamed.

The transformation was violent—gold turned black, the blade igniting in unholy crimson fire. Veins of fury and grief pulsed through the handle, and in his grip was born a weapon meant for vengeance.

BloodFlame.

Damian stood tall, his wings cracked and smoking, the red katana humming with power.

“Burn for her.”

⸻

Inside the mirror realm, Weblust Dustmare prowled the halls, silk dripping from his legs, lust spores corrupting every corner of the hotel turned eldritch temple.

Until the blade pierced through his thorax.

The scream was indescribable—half-orgasm, half-agony, fully unholy. Damian didn’t let up. He slashed again and again, each cut burning not just flesh but contractual essence.

BloodFlame devoured the corrupted soul.

Angeldust howled as the eldritch energy peeled from his body like flaking skin. At last, his body collapsed in smoking ruin. A broken shell of what he’d become.

“Rest,” Damian muttered. “You were never the monster.”

⸻

Elsewhere, Alastor faced his dragon.

Sammy Nevermore, possessed and burning with Yharnam’s fire, clawed and snapped at him—until Niffty, small and ferocious, struck her eye with a silver needle.

The pain was enough for Alastor to reach her and place a hand over her chest. His voice, for once, was not manic—only sorrowful.

“Come back, my dear. You’re mine.”

The contract flared. And the possession shattered.

Sammy collapsed, glowing with radiant radio static. Her scales gleamed with Alastor’s red hues, and her eyes returned—clear, focused, loyal.

She rose beside him—a radiant radio dragon, coiled with sound and fire, now wielding Alastor’s staff as her new weapon.

Together, they charged to Damian’s side.

⸻

Voxxxa and Valentino were no longer just twisted remnants. They had become the Eldritch Priestess and Priest—armor of glass and shadow, weapons formed of sins they’d once peddled. Their moves were synchronized, lethal. Their words were prayers soaked in madness.

The battle between them and the three—Damian, Alastor, and Sammy—was a collision of myth.

BloodFlame clashed with corrupted camera-spawned whips.

Alastor’s laughter warped into violent radio static as he deflected cursed pleasure-blasts from Valentino.

Sammy, winged and burning, swooped and clashed, echoing a broadcast siren with every strike of her staff.

And then…

She emerged.

Queen Yharnam.

Riding a massive armored beast with pulsing veins of white flame and eyes like dying stars. The wolf was enormous—yet graceful, cruelly familiar. Its collar was still there, burned and blackened.

Damian’s heart stopped.

“Sinthia…”

The beast growled—but not in defiance. In recognition.

Her fur was scorched. Her eyes were glowing with buried memory. But it was her.

Queen Yharnam leaned down from the saddle and whispered, “She makes a better steed than slut. Don’t you think?”

⸻

The sky above Hell shattered.

A pale moon emerged—unblinking, watching. Ancient and wrong. Its light froze time. Its presence turned night into something worse.

On Earth, day vanished. Sunlight became myth. An endless night overtook the world.

And in Heaven, for the first time in countless millennia…

They noticed.

The Moon Presence, a god older than angels and demons, had moved. And below, all of Hell braced as the war for Sinthia, for Chaos, and for existence itself began to burn.
