is tumblr too informal as a digital portfolio?

hi! this might be the dumbest question asked on this sub, but out of nostalgia, i found my old tumblr blog that was a visual mood board/archive of sorts; is tumblr too informal/not an appropriate platform to showcase work?

mainly asking, because i feel like it can show a lot of personality based on how you code and customize your blog, but i also don't know what im talking about. haha
