New player in need of advice.
I'm playing in my first PF2E game with some friends. We are playing free archetype in abomination vaults (no spoilers pls). The party is a human champion, a tanuki alchemist, an elf gunslinger and myself (dwarf rogue).
We just hit level two and in trying to figure out where I want my character to build into. Currently I'm thief racket, with trap finder, Titan wrestling and dwarf more. I have a spiked chain weapon because I wanted to be trip focused. Stats 12 str, 18 dex, 10 int, 12 con, 12 wis, 10 cha.
I'm trying to decide between scout or martial artist dedication. I have read later levels that Oportunistic backstab is good. But other feats are kinda up in the air. If I went MA I assume head stomp would be good after a wolf drag. But I'm struggling to see what is the best option to keep things off guard. I looked at tumble behind, and I know gang up works if I stay near the champ. My feint won't be good, and unless I trip then head stomp they just stand before I hit them again next turn. On the scout I like the theme of scouting ahead for better initiative and the fient being on stealth so it's dex seems good. But idk what to do after I charge in. Do I just spam scouts charge for the two action feint and stike? What do I do for my third action?
Any build advice or just general thief rogue tips? Thanks in advance. I'm open to all suggestions.
