Why is no one closing off the relationship?

Everyone has been so obsessed with "exploring" to the point of lunacy, we have what? 2 week left? and no one is closing off their relationship even tho their getting territorial and having all these conversations about what they can and cannot do.

Especially Nic and Cierra, i think he wants to keep it open in case a hotter girl walks in, but his behavior during the challenge was trash, just ruining the vibe, is like he doesnt fully want her but also doesnt want anyone else to have her.

And then Chelley and Ace. It has been more than obvious that they dont really care about the other people that theyve been coupled up with so whats the point of staying open? Are these people really going to be open until literally the last episode?
