Proper way to apply Tenax Proseal?

Recently had Pitaya White countertops installed and would like to adequately seal them. I purchased Tenax Proseal based on some of the recommendations on this forum and just want to get ahead of the process.

Should I put it in a spray bottle or should I apply directly to a microfiber cloth and just wipe on? In either method, should I apply liberally and let it soak in, or should I apply enough to cover the surface and then immediately wipe off? I see conflicting reviews online for different types of sealers, so I want to make sure I nail the Tenax application so my wife doesn't hate me!

Also, do I only need to do this once, or should I do a couple applications to ensure a good seal?
