New connection advice

Hi everyone, I've just joined this group and could really use some help!

I tend to get overwhelmed when faced with too many options, especially with things I’m not familiar with - like choosing internet plans.

We’ve recently moved into our new home and have Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) already set up. I'm working from home a couple of days a week, mostly on Teams calls, and we do a bit of streaming in the evenings. I’m not entirely sure how the setup process works or what plan would best suit both me and my fiancé.

We're looking for a balance of reliability, good customer support, and reasonable pricing - especially with the cost of living and being new homeowners. Any advice or provider recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

Long term I would like to upgrade NBN, but for the time being I’m okay to hold off too!
