Upcoming hearing for speeding ticket? What to expect?

Hello all,

I disputed a speeding ticket from last year after perusing the advice from Reddit, encouraged to dispute every ticket. Hearing already adjourned to a year after the offence date.

It is my first time attending a hearing, what can I expect on the process? Vancouver, BC.

A bit of context
-Obtained the officer's notes after a request for disclosure
-Caught speeding at 120-130 km/h on the SFPR (80 km/h) by pacing. I take this hwy often to visit a customer and majority of vehicles drive at ~110 km/h daily . It's a 4 lane divided hwy, with excellent visibility, no pedestrian walkways. Clear day, few cars.
-Gambling on the officer to not show up for case to be dismissed.

PS: I do not need a lecture on how I should just pay the fine and move on. I'm a tax payer and within my right to go through the legal process. If actual violent criminals who reoffend time after time get the slap on the wrist and let out to terrorize citizens each time, why can't us good citizens get a break once in a while?
