New Arma Player - seeking advice

Hello. For several years, I have enjoyed watching youtube videos related to Arma III Content. I saw the game on sale yesterday so I bought it. I am posting this to get advice from the community on how to best start and progress in this game, and maybe find a serious group to learn with.
