Robbing

For the past couple weeks since becoming a Marauder I've been continuing my plan of breaking into the houses of various mob members. I'm happy with what I've found, about 50 Pounds, and various items i can sell for more money.

I have my eyes set on the house of one of the leaders of the mob, I've been staking out his house for a couple days now, I've noticed that he leaves in the Afternoon and comes back late at night every day. The Beyonders that i know told me that they've heard this guy is a Marauder too, It seems this mob doesn't have many beyonders and the ones they do have are very low sequence.

Those same people who told me that this guy is a marauder also told me about how recently a rival mob member was killed by this mob, supposedly he was a Swindler.

There shouldn't be anything in the house I cant deal with as long as he doesn't come home early.

The guys house is similar to a nobles house, its 2 stories tall and its in a relatively safe area with not too many people around, A large wall surrounds the house which I'll have to climb if i want to get in.

I'm across from the guys house with a newspaper, I see him leave and as soon as he turns the corner I check if anyone is around, nobody is, I walk over to the wall and quickly climb it. I climb up the side of the house and open a window, the houses interior is decorated very fancily. I quickly search the room i arrived in, It seems to be the guys bedroom, I search through all the drawers in the house and find nothing but clothes and some useless junk. I search through a couple more rooms I find some money but no useful items, I get to a room that seems to be the office of the guy that lives here.

Inside the office i search through the desk, one of the desk drawers is locked and the others have nothing of value. I pull at the handle of the drawer until the drawer breaks open, Inside i see a familiar box, it is the same as the ornate box that I found in the first mob members house i robbed that had the ingredients and potion formula for my Marauder Potion. I open the box on top of the desk, inside is a weird translucent lip-shaped crystal, two vials of some clear liquid, a blue stone, and a container of some kind of balm. I read the paper that is pinned to the inner top of the box, at the top of the paper it says Swindler Potion and then the ingredients, turns out that lip-shaped crystal is actually a Swindler Characteristic. As I stare at the box I hear a sound of a door opening from downstairs, I quickly grab the box and close the desk drawers, I run to the window and dive out of it.

I look back after landing on the ground and see a head staring at me through the open window, I smile at him and run to the wall and start climbing it, as I climb a Gunshot rings out and something hits the wall a couple of inches away from me. I climb as fast as I can go and manage to get over the wall before another Gunshot rings out, I dart into the alleys near the house and run as fast as i can, as i run away from the house i can feel most of my potion digest, one or two more small robberies would fully digest my potion.

I also understood an acting principle of a Marauder, One must truly become a Marauder, by stealing and breaking into houses like a Marauder.
