LeBron taking a pay cut defeats the purpose of the CBA Rules does it not?

The entire point of the CBA Rules is to promote fair competition and stop Super Teams/Dynasties from forming, yet people want LeBron to drop his contract from 52mil to anywhere from 10-20mil even though he was just named 2nd team ALL NBA?
