28M looking for people to apartment hunt with/room. Move in on 08/01 (09/01 latest)

Hi everyone! I am a 28 year old data scientist moving to NYC and looking for either a room with an August 1^(st) (September 1^(st) at the latest) lease start date or a roommate to apartment hunt with. Ideally, I’m hoping to find a respectful, relaxed roommate and a place with in-building laundry.

A little bit about me:
Currently, I work remotely as a data scientist and typically go into the office 0–2 times per week. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, and attempting to go to the gym or on a run. Besides that, I enjoy video games/board games, exploring the city, trying new types of food/drinks, and occasionally going out.

At home, I’d say I’m a 6.5/10 on the cleanliness scale, although things can build up in my room since I mostly work from home, but I am respectful of common areas, and try to keep them clean. During the week, I’m usually working, listening to podcasts, reading, watching tv, hanging out with friends, or just exhausted. On weekends, I like to explore the city, meal prep for the upcoming week. I value direct and clear communication.

I’m currently looking at apartments in Astoria, LIC, Bushwick, Williamsburg, and East Williamsburg, with a budget of $1800–$2000/month. I would prefer a pet free place, but am okay with a dog.
