I don't what kind of Phobia is this.
I once saw a woman on a TV show who was terrified of a big jar of olives, and I remember thinking I’d feel the exact same way if it were a massive jug of tea — with that awful smell. I’ve had this phobia since I was a kid. Being born in a country like Sri Lanka, where tea is a major export, I grew up constantly seeing it. I watched my mother make tea, and I always hated the way the milk turned brown. The black clumps that collected in the strainer disgusted me, and the discolored water droplets spilling over the white tray made me sick to my stomach. I can’t stand the smell — it’s awful. People even tried to make me drink flavored tea once, and I ended up vomiting after just half a teaspoon of that disgusting drink. Even when we go on vacation, they serve iced tea. One time I thought it was apple juice, but the smell hit me and I had to fight the urge to puke. I had nightmares about tea as a kid. I’m honestly more afraid of tea than I am of the giant spiders.
