wanna feel like a villain, should I get v rising, dungeons 3/wfto, evil genius 1, or some other game?
basically I really want evil genius 2 because it's on sale, but didn't get it because of the invasive anticheat, and mixed reviews. honestly, if it didn't have that anti-cheat I'd probably get it in a heartbeat because of the sale right now.
on Xbox, I played dead by daylight(mostly as killer) divinity original sin 2, a ghostbusters game called haunted hunters on Roblox (both the ghost and Hunter roles were fun) On PC, I haven't bought many games, but I got undefeated(superhero game) and phobophobia, but spend a bit of my time playing Lordz io and territorial io.
TLDR: Me want Villain game. no like fantasy that much. I Want to gloat over good guys, laugh maniacally, build a cool base with minions and dominate the world. I'd prefer a dungeon builder but open to anything with base managment and supervillain vibes.
The most obvious choice is a dungeon keeper game like dungeons three or war for the overworld, but I'm not thrilled on the generic fantasy theme (the bond villain aesthetic was one of the main draws to EG2), especially considering the protagonists in those games seem to be a disembodied, floating hand or a generic red crystal. impire seemed to have an interesting protagonist at least, but campaign seemed too linear and tutorial-esque for my like
I'm considering V rising because a survival game where youre Dracula and build a castle seems pretty cool, also fighting vampire hunters and hunting heroes/bosses sounds really cool. though I heard people were getting their progress wiped due to updates.
Evil genius 1 looks like those old games with complicated menus, and I don't like the villains as much. it has good reviews I think but is it good by modern standards?
