I carry my cat to bed sometimes, does anyone do this with their cats?

Thought it was humorous and cute, so was curious if this happens to anyone else.

My cat loves to hop into my bed, he’s done it from day one. Some nights, when Hex is moody, he wants me to play with him more than I have the energy for. He gets into a huff and goes downstairs while I stay upstairs, drawing or on my phone usually.

Lately, I e gotten into the habit of fetching him. If he doesn’t come back up, I go downstairs after some time has passed, find him sleeping in his favorite perch, pick him up, and carry him to bed.

He’s by no means a cat who likes to get carried, he tolerates it for a short time before getting fed up, but he lets me carry him when he’s sleepy all the way up the stairs and purrs when he’s gets into bed (even a small bit while being held). Then he falls asleep immediately haha.

Does this happen to anyone else? I find it humorous, I thought he’d hop out of my arms immediately the first time but he’s a sleepy little guy…!
