How do you solve the reach problem on 90s mountain bikes?

I have a Trek 930 singletrack that’s basically bone stock. I put on a nice seat from another bike, and a rack on the back, but that’s it so far. Moving the seat up and down, forward and back, can’t seem to feel comfortable any way other than hunched forward.

I’m definitely thinking new bars, I want wider, taller, back sweep, I think the clamp is 25.4mm. I don’t wanna mess with the stem and all so I’d rather compensate for the long stock stem with some back sweep.

Mostly using this bike to cruise around suburbs, up and down curbs, occasional dirt and gravel detours. So nothing too clunky and mustachy, but definitely comfortable for long leisurely rides.

Recommend some bars you’ve had success with on similar frames. I’m not trying to dump too much money in but wanna make this thing my perfect do it all bike for life, never been one for collecting and pouring money into hobbies that are supposed to be for fun
