Traffic stop etiquette| does this look suspicious.

I am a civilian.

I’ve been pulled over once, and grabbed my id and registration, and then put my hands over the steering wheel visible for the officer to see while he walks up to my car, I also am very respectful, and not difficult (I know cops are just doing their job).

My question is though: does this all look suspicious, and can do more bad for me than good? Like make the officer think I’m hiding something?

If so what should I do next time? I did all the things I said and the female officer which was just the supporting passenger officer to the male who was talking to me, was outside my car with her hand on her gun looking through my rear view mirror at me, even when the other officer was checking my record.

So I’m curious.
