Song of the Day Redux, Day 37: Bron-Y-Aur

Bron-Y-Aur - Led Zeppelin Tribute

Thanks to u/BBanner for reminding me that we haven't covered this. I'll get to PFI tomorrow. This will be a very brief post, but it would be wrong to skip it.

The Content: This is the "hidden" song after Final Cut. It was given its strange unofficial name as a tribute to Led Zeppelin, for Bron-Yr-Aur and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. Sort of a country/folk inspired sound that sounds a lot like what Coheed was going for.

The song is sometimes thought of as a "going home" after death, but I'm not sure whose death that would be. It's kind of like a post-credit sequence, like Apollo's dream or something. It's not a direct part of the Amory Wars story, so I'm not really sure how it relates.

The Music: The band stepping out of their comfort zone and playing this is pretty cool. I have no idea what instruments are being played, but I imagine it looked a lot like this (for best results, you must mute the second video!)

The Part: Not really applicable for a one minute instrumental song.
